After Slides are installed and tested, an in depth training session on deployment and periodic inspection will occur. All staff will receive the basic deployment training and individuals you designate will receive the inspection and deployment training. At each training session, a slide will be deployed giving participants the opportunity to test the system and be comfortable with its use.
In school settings, training will first occur with the entire staff of the school, then an assembly will be held for the students. The assembly will include a discussion of emergency situations (in age appropriate format), a visit from our Mascot, printed information to be sent home to parents and the opportunity for all children to test the slide out for themselves.
