The STS team is committed to providing the highest level of service and support for the Rapid Evacuation Slide. Our team will be with you through installation, training and ongoing support. The STS team follows this implementation process:
ConsultationAn STS Consultant will assist in the evaluation of your school, residence, or commercial building to create the optimal solution to provide the best safety for your students, residents, or employees. The consultation will include custom pricing, delivery and installation lead times and explain in detail the ongoing support you will receive to maintain the Rapid Evacuation Slide.
Manufacturing & InstallationOnce the specifications of each slide needed in your building are determined, the custom manufacturing of your order will begin. Concurrently, our Installation Team will begin to either retrofit your existing structure or work with your construction crew to prepare for slide installation. Certified Slide To Safety installers are fully licensed and bonded.
TrainingAfter Slides are installed and tested, an in depth training session on deployment and periodic inspection will occur. All staff will receive the basic deployment training and individuals you designate will receive the inspection and deployment training. At each training session, a slide will be deployed giving participants the opportunity to test the system and be comfortable with its use.
In school settings, training will first occur with the entire staff of the school, then an assembly will be held for the students. The assembly will include a discussion of emergency situations (in age appropriate format), a visit from our Mascot, printed information to be sent home to parents and the opportunity for all children to test the slide out for themselves.
